The start of the story
Sharon Banfield, the founder, brings nearly ten years of experience in the finance industry and more than seven years as an Agribusiness Manager. In October 2018, she established Ikonix Business Solutions, offering contract bookkeeping, finance administration, and software training to clients on the South Coast of NSW.
Recognising a need among small and medium business owners for assistance with people solutions, Sharon took a study break and started training in Human Resources. Her career has been shaped by a passion for learning, people, and technology.
Ikonix Business Solutions works with small and medium-sized businesses. Discounts are provided to Not-for-profit organisations.
The founder's credentials
Sharon became a certified Accounting Technician with a Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping and a Diploma of Payroll Services through Monarch Institute. She furthered her education with a Diploma of Human Resource Management through MCI Institute, where she gained foundational HR skills. She obtained specialisations in Digital HR and Talent Acquisition and became a certified Strategic HR Leader through the Academy to Innovate HR (AIHR). Most recently, she was accredited as an NLP Practitioner by the Institute of Applied Psychology.
